Mincom LinkOne for MySAP

Mincom LinkOne for mySAP is software for creating and distributing a graphical hierarchy of parts and service information (Graphic Bill of Materials) in conjunction with the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module. Within seconds, maintenance personnel can drill-down from a bird's-eye view of their plant to a single bolt or washer and service information applicable to that level. As a result, your maintenance workforce can more quickly progress to pertinent upkeep and repairs, as opposed to searching for the required part numbers and materials needed to perform their function.

LinkOne for mySAP incorporates integration at all levels within SAP, for Publishing of content, Distribution of content and for business process integration between LinkOne and SAP.

Publishing - Using SAP's Document Management Systems (DMS), associate graphics with BoM within the FL structure, automatically generating (extracting) content. Because data is robotically generated, further revisions to the FE structure, BoM, object links, etc. are automatically pushed back into the LinkOne catalog.

Distribution - LinkOne offers a web-based (Internet Explorer or Windows) approach to distribution of catalog. Full functionality is achieved whether either is employed. In both instances, maintenance personnel select the required parts to fulfill their function. LinkOne populates the SAP Work Order with all the required transactional information without further input from maintenance personnel.

Materials Management - Within SAP's Materials Management module (SAP MM) resides dynamic information. With LinkOne for mySAP, users can see that an item(s) is stocked, non-stocked, or view its historical delivery time, etc. Consequently, the ability to determine optimal time to begin their function is achieved.

Single Source - LinkOne for mySap uses SAP as a single source for producing LinkOne catalog. In doing so, no proprietary middle-ware is required and no duplication of master data occurs. All spare-part history is retained within the SAP system, and only relevant information is provided to the user in an illustrative drill-down view.

All Departments - Because LinkOne presents data within a familiar SAP environment (or any other well-known setting), compliance and productivity required of SAP PM users is realized.
