Software Engineer Level 3 (PowerBuilder)

For more than 25 years, Mincom has been providing world-class enterprise resource planning and asset management software solutions to organizations that manage and operate complex capital infrastructure.

The PowerBuilder (Software Engineer - Level 3) provides full-time on-site software development and support tasks, and is primarily responsible for particular application maintenance, enhancement, development and support services to the customer.

Mincoms next PowerBuilder will be responsible for:

Programming and testing of software components
Development and maintenance of specifications and user documentation
Problem analysis and resolution
Customer liaison and onsite support
Mentor assistance to less experienced software engineers
Coordination of activities and tasks
Development of design documents
Performance of quality control/Verification and Validation (V&V) activities

To apply for this position with Mincom, you must offer the following skills and experiences:

PowerBuilder, Oracle PL-SQL & MS SQL 2000 experience is essential
Operating Systems (UNIX, Windows NT, Windows Server 2000/2003/2005 and others)
Sound knowledge of Delphi, J2EE / Java, C# / .NET, ASP / IIS & JavaScript highly favourable
Additionally, knowledge of SDLC, Software Configuration Management tools and processes or Software development tools and IDEs is also looked upon positively
