Senior Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented and committed System Engineer to work as part of a tight-knit team of system administrators managing our clients key Microsoft Infrastructure.

You will need to be passionate about your career choice and you must want to learn and grow in this role. Naturally you will display initiative and determination and will already have proven yourself as an above average performer. You will have the following experience:

  • Excellent communication skills with both team members and clients.
  • 3 to 5 years IT experience in Microsoft Systems administration
  • You have worked in medium to large enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Strong ability in scripting languages
  • Proven ability to analyse & troubleshoot in Windows 2000/2003
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Exchange, IIS, Active Directory and other key Microsoft server technologies
  • Hands on experience with SAN and Cluster technology desirable
  • MSCE 2000/2003 highly desirable
  • CCA/CCEA desirable

You will be working in a team environment so you will need to be reliable, and able to interrelate and communicate effectively.

You have a proven ability to follow process; Mincom has adopted ITIL based processes. This position is required to participate in an on call roster outside of working hours.
